£32,000 - £35,000 - Negotiable depending on experience

The Job Role:

You will support the Production Manager in all day-to-day aspects of soft fruit production, from crop management through to harvest. The role will involve leading teams, coordinating logistics, ensuring fruit quality, and maintaining accurate production records.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, train, and monitor performance of seasonal staff and team leaders

Oversee and support soft fruit production tasks (growing, harvest)

Coordinate daily logistics and team movements

Host staff induction and training sessions

Monitor and report on health and safety compliance

Maintain accurate production records

Carry out fruit quality control during harvest

Candidate Requirements:

Experience in soft fruit production (harvest or growing) - essential

Strong organisational and planning skills

Confident in managing seasonal teams and motivating staff

Proactive, with a hands-on and independent approach

Positive, adaptable, and a quick learner

Language skills such as Russian or Bulgarian would be an advantage (not essential)

A full, clean UK driving licence is required
