New Job Opportunity - Tractor Driver

East Midlands

£13.50+ per hour depending on skills and experience

The Job Role:

You will play a central role in arable and root crop operations, supporting all stages of the growing cycle from ground preparation to harvest. The role involves daily operation and maintenance of tractors and farm machinery and contributing to wider farm maintenance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate tractors and a variety of modern arable and root crop equipment

Support planting, growing, and harvesting operations

Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of machinery

Assist with field cultivations, spraying, irrigation setup, and harvesting

Accurately follow instructions and record fieldwork as required

Maintain high standards of safety and hygiene across all operations

Support the wider farm team with general duties as needed

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience operating tractors and agricultural machinery

Familiarity with arable and/or root crop farming practices

PA1 and PA2 spraying certificates desirable

Good mechanical awareness and practical problem-solving skills

Full UK driving licence essential

Reliable, hardworking, and flexible - especially during peak times

Desirable: Forklift or telehandler ticket, GPS equipment experience
